This project was developed for a team-building workshop focused on leadership and organizational development. The animation tells the story of a seagull at a crossroads, initially struggling to find its alignment within a chaotic flock. As the narrative progresses, the seagulls come together in a perfect V formation, symbolizing the transition from disarray to effective teamwork. The animation concludes with the message “Leadership and Organizational Development,” serving as a powerful visual metaphor for the workshop’s themes.

I was responsible for the concept development and translating the abstract idea of being at a crossroads and seeking alignment into a visual narrative. I chose to represent this journey through seagulls, whose flight patterns naturally symbolize the challenges and rewards of finding direction and working together as a team.

One of the key challenges was adhering to the client’s preference for a line-style animation while ensuring clarity amid the dynamic motion and overlapping elements. To address this, I worked on refining the visual style to maintain distinct and recognizable shapes, even in more complex scenes. By balancing the minimalist line work with thoughtful composition, I met the client’s expectations while effectively conveying the intended message.
