I was commissioned to create a minimalist line art animation for Skyliyht’s website, illustrating the transformative impact of virtual skylights on various interiors. The goal was to bring bland, enclosed spaces to life by introducing skylights that evoke feelings of openness, positivity, and connection to the sky. Collaborating with the client, I ensured the animations aligned with the brand’s ethos of simplicity while incorporating subtle visual elements that emphasize light and space.

I conceptualized and designed the animations, illustrating rooms with skylights and strategically integrating blue highlights to convey themes of brightness, sunlight, and serenity. The use of selective colour brought an emotional resonance to the otherwise monochrome animations.

The main challenge was portraying openness and positivity within the constraints of minimalist line art. By balancing simplicity with expressive elements like soft blue tones, I achieved a visual style that conveyed light and transformation while staying true to the brand’s identity.
